Years back sometime in 1991, we, APO Alumnus gathered here in the Shopping Centers, Doha, Qatar occasionally. Months after, Alpha Phi Omega Qatar Alumni Club (APOQATAC) was formed where set of officers were elected and Brod Beda Parica – Alpha Psi ’71 – ID # 06252 was elected as Chairman. Thereafter, monthly meetings were held at the residence of the Chairman until the celebration of the 66th APO Foundation Anniversary and the 42nd APO (Philippines) Foundation Anniversary.

With the Constitution and By Laws composed, the idea of the association to be recognized by the APO –Philippines National Council was brought out as the next priority after some projects and services are accomplished. More months after, despite of the new set of officers elected where Brod Raul D. Ureta – Delta Mu ’76 – ID # 07328 was elected as the NEW CHAIRMAN, the association started to disintegrate due to the inactivity by most of the brothers under uncertain circumstances. Thereby the activities of the alumnus were limited to celebrating the foundation anniversary after anniversaries and nothing more.

And on March 2, 1998, some alumnus gathered again for the 48th APO(Philippines) Foundation Anniversary. The affair was then successful which was attended by most of the alumnus where election of new set of officers was held and Brod Raul D. Ureta as Chairman – APhiO Alumni Association – Qatar. Constitution and By Laws was amended/revised and thereby adopted.
